How It Began
A Practice Born from Passion
Za'Mani (Z') Restoration Locks was born from a deeply personal place — a love for natural hair, a reverence for heritage, and a belief that the journey to beautiful locs should feel as sacred as the destination.
Our founder, Za'Mani, began his journey with locs as a young adult, navigating the world of natural hair without guidance or community. That experience — of searching, struggling, and ultimately thriving — became the foundation of everything Z' business stands for.
Today, Za'Mani (Z') Restoration Locks is a sanctuary for those beginning their loc journey, those restoring damaged locs, and those who simply want their hair cared for with intention, expertise, and love.

Za'Mani has been working with natural hair for quite some time, specializing in Microlocs establishments, re-tightenings, and repair maintenance. His approach is rooted in both technical expertise and a deep spiritual connection to the art of loc care.
Trained in multiple loc methods — including interlocking, palm rolling, two-strand twists, and comb coils — he tailors every service to the unique texture, density, and goals of each client.
